Here’s a bit more nostalgia from me. I was a primary schoolboy in Sydney in 1985 who raced home on a cloudy afternoon, desperate to see the incoming Concorde. Luckily I got home in time – Concorde was late! My house was under the flightpath to Kingsford Smith, and before too long I saw the beautiful aircraft come roaring along, nose angled down for landing. That’s always been a vivid childhood memory for me so I figured I should commit it to plastic!

So here is that aircraft, G-BOAE, in the livery it wore on the day.

I’ve wrestled with this old Revell kit for a year, adding a resin windscreen and resin intakes by Bra.Z, and decals by F-DCAL. The tail markings were painted using a stencil cutter (a first for me).

I don’t know if this is victory or abandonment but I’m calling it done.
