This is the first model I’ve shown publicly after returning to the hobby a couple of years ago. I thought the use of the Sea King in Ukraine made an interesting modelling subject.

This is the old-tool Airfix 1/72 Sea King from 1969 with extras that came out around 2010. I’ve made a few adjustments based on observations of the Ukrainian Sea Kings.

The soldier figures are 3D printed and part of a Ukrainian Checkpoint set by Germania Figuren. When I saw these figures I imagined an animal encounter after reading that Ukrainian forces had found themselves caring for stray animals on the frontlines. The cats are 3D printed from a free files site with some modifications.

I airbrush with acrylic lacquers (Mr Color and SMS) and weather with oil paint.
