This model of the Jag was originally tooled in 1963 and was one of 2 models from the “Car and Driver – Three Road Legends” model set released by Monogram in 1986, which also included a Porsche Speedster and Datsun 240Z. I picked it up cheaply as a bagged model at a swap meet (the 240Z was missing).
The Jaguar has been re-released recently but should be avoided due to its poor mouldings, etc – unless you enjoy a nostalgic build.
