.: MEK the perfect plastic joiner.

Here's a great inexpensive product that can be used for joining certain plastic kits sections together.

Butanone (MEK) is produced in large quantities. Nearly half of it is used in paints and other coatings because it will quickly evaporate. It dissolves many substances and is used as a solvent in processes involving gums, resins and in vinyl films. It is also widely used in manufacturing plastics, and this how Peter McKinnon brought it to our attention.

Like thinners "MEK" is highly FLAMMABLE so do not use around or near a naked flame. It isn't considered a large health threat but as per any chemical never inhale the fumes and always work in a well ventilated area.

What you need : MEK - paint brush & a steady hand
